We are pleased to share that the collaboration of our IBDP department with Gradia, Jyväskylän Lyseon lukio IB World School in Finland has been further enhanced this year by hosting one more group of Finnish educators, who visited our school from 22nd to 28th of September. During their visit, our Finnish peers had the opportunity to observe classes, exchange ideas and good practices with our teachers as well as visit famous cultural sites in Athens.

On Saturday 21st of September, a group of IB1 & IB2 students, parents and teachers visited the 52nd Book Festival at Pedion Areos in the centre of Athens. Recognized as the largest celebratory event in the book industry, it attracts book lovers and new readers every year, bringing them into contact with publishers and authors offering them the chance to attend cultural events and participate into interactive educational activities.
The Geitonas School IB DP Arts Exhibition 2024, held by the IB DP senior students taking Visual Arts and Music courses took place at the renowned Blender Gallery in Glyfada on April 11-13, 2024 with great success!

You are invited to the IB DP The Arts Exhibition 2024, held by the IB DP senior students at Geitonas School taking Visual Arts and Music courses. Students will present their work, which resonates their artistic interests.
IBDP Open Day 2024
Τα Εκπαιδευτήρια Γείτονα οργανώνουν, το Σάββατο 9 Μαρτίου 2024 (ώρα 9:00-13:00), Ημερίδα Ενημέρωσης (Open Day) για το πρόγραμμα του International Baccalaureate. Η Ενημερωτική Ημερίδα (Open Day) θα πραγματοποιηθεί στον χώρο των Εκπαιδευτηρίων Γείτονα και απευθύνεται σε μαθητές-μαθήτριες και γονείς του σχολείου μας αλλά και άλλων σχολείων που ενδιαφέρονται να πληροφορηθούν αναλυτικά για το International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. On Monday 4th December 2023, our school hosted a special event to celebrate the achievements of our IB2 students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Core components: Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), Theory of Knowledge (TOK), and the Extended Essay of the students. The students had the opportunity to talk to the whole IB community, i.e. students, teachers and parents, about their experiences and the insights they have gained throughout this challenging journey. There has also been an exhibition of artwork created by the Visual Arts students of the IBDP department.
Την Τετάρτη 4 Οκτωβρίου, μαθητές και μαθήτριες του International Baccalaureate και της Γ΄ Λυκείου παρακολούθησαν ενημερωτική ομιλία από εκπροσώπους 4 ευρωπαϊκών ανώτατων εκπαιδευτικών ιδρυμάτων:
Στην 45η Εθνική Συνδιάσκεψη Επιλογής του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου Νέων Ελλάδας, η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε στη Γερμανική Σχολή Αθηνών από τις 7 έως και τις 10 Απριλίου 2023, συμμετείχαν οι μαθητές μας Αλκιβιάδης Συντώσης (IB DP1) και Βασιλική Σδόνα (IB DP1).
Τα Εκπαιδευτήρια Γείτονα προγραμματίζουν για το Σάββατο 13 Μαΐου 2023 (ώρα 9:00-14:00) την διεξαγωγή του δεύτερου γύρου Διαγνωστικών Διαγωνισμάτων (Placement Tests) για την εισαγωγή των υποψήφιων μαθητών/μαθητριών στο πρόγραμμα του International Baccalaureate. Τα διαγωνίσματα θα διεξαχθούν στον χώρο του σχολείου.
