Scientific Work
GEITONAS School, with original research work and peer-reviewed papers written by their teachers, published in Greek and international scientific journals and books, actively contribute to scientific developments in the field of education.They also actively contribute to the diffusion of new knowledge, by encouraging and supporting the participation of their teachers in Greek and international scientific conferences, organized by Higher Educational Institutes, and by organizing conferences with the participation of distinguished Greek and foreign professors and researchers.
Educational Research and Development Secretariat
The Educational Research and Development Secretariat operates in our School to systematically study and understand the educational environment where our students develop physically and mentally.
The teachers supporting the work of the Educational Research and Development Secretariat prepare and implement new programs and innovative actions (experiential learning, multi-dynamic teaching, active learning, involvement of parents in their child’s education). In this way, our educational programs are harmonized with modern trends in education and support teachers in designing, developing, implementing and evaluating modern teaching interventions.
As a result, an attitude towards life and learning is developed, based on study, self-assessment, dialogue and self-reflection.
The Educational Research and Development Secretariat contributes to informing and updating teachers and other competent persons on relevant issues and supports the School’s actions by providing relevant material and bibliographic documentation. It also contributes to activating, supporting, promoting and evaluating the efficiency of the School’s innovative actions.
