Culture
As a School of culture we are not limited to just securing a rich cognitive background for our students. Their cultural and mental development constitutes our priority so that they will be able to creatively assimilate the acquired knowledge as well as use it for the benefit of society.
Each student is encouraged to participate in a cultural field, such as the choir, orchestra, theater workshop, social action group, forensics society or the United Nations Model group.
Many of our students participate in student symposiums held by international organizations and have the opportunity to communicate with their peers from other countries, exchange ideas and thoughts and get to know their culture.
Other students prefer to become members of a cultural group of the Open Creative School, such as cinema and theater groups and attend theater and cinema performances with the group teacher.
Furthermore, writers and scientists are invited to the school for discussions with students, educational visits to museums, galleries and areas of wider cultural interest are organized, and art exhibitions and conferences are held.
"Culture Day" and "Greek Fair" are two important cultural institutions of our School that seal the high quality of the cultural dimension of the school’s special character.
