International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is an international curriculum for students aged 16-18, in the last two years of High School (ΙΒ1 and IB2). The IBDP is recognized by universities around the world as a renown high school diploma that grants students access to their undergraduate studies.
The DP curriculum is taught in English and consists of six subject groups and the DP core.

In the IBDP, students have the opportunity to choose their courses, based on their interests and their desired area of undergraduate study. Students take three courses at Higher Level (HL) and three courses at Standard Level (SL). All students are required to take the DP core classes. In the IBDP, students are assessed both by internal and external assessments, with the most important being the final exams in IBDP Year 2.
In August 2022, the IBDP is offered in 3,550 schools worldwide. The IBDP has been offered at Geitonas School since 1995.
