The quarantine student newsletter
We are six IBDP1 students, who teamed up and created this newsletter to attract and entertain people with similar passions to ours. The goal of this website is to help people get through quarantine, and generally get through their day, by using their time more productively or by trying out new things. This page is an opportunity for you to have fun and engage with new hobbies. So, if you enjoy, reading books, programming, gaming, improving your mental and physical health, playing music or creativity, you have visited the right page! Click here to read our Newsletter!
Mirror of Positivity
Human Trafficking
Human Trafficking. A global plague. During our CAS group project, we addressed this issue of global significance by conducting an interview with the leading experts on the topic, from the Cyber Security International Institute, and creating a documentary with our own research on the issue. Our main purpose was to raise awareness and educate as many people as possible, so that they can protect themselves.

Reflections of 2020
Animal Welfare
We have focused on the wellbeing of animals, and we have searched for ways in order to help them. We have conducted a research on this topic, and we have learned things that we didnt knew before. Due to the current circumstances of covid-19 it was difficult for us to make actions that we initially had in mind. Therefore, we thought it will be a nice idea to take an interview from the owner of a shelter, create a questionnaire about animals and ask students of our age to fill it in order to make some claims about the general view that teenagers have about animal rights.

Refugees
The refugees CAS project is an experience that none of us will forget. Markela will not forget her interesting and exciting role of being a leader. Elisavet will not forget her contribution through researching with Chrysoula. Stelios and Kevin will not forget their excitement about making the final ppt. Andreas will not forget his determination on researching statistics about refugees that shocked us all. Finally, we will not forget that we made this project through everyone’s team spirit and cooperation!

WeforYou
Our intention was to motivate our friends and the public to actively participate in a comprehensive action plan intended to provide for people in need. We wanted to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and help towards alleviating poverty. Our project consisted of three parts. The first was to collect 200kg of olives from fields, bottle and sell them and use the income of 1.200euros to buy professional equipment for the Cerebral Palsy Charity "Door Open" and the 'Children's Smile" home for Children in Corinth. The second part was clothes drive where we collected 25 large boxes of clothes and delivered them to "Children's Smile" in Nea Makri. The third part was the collection of Books for SOS Children's Village in Vari and Children's Smile.

Your advisor/coordinator will review your form as part of the approval process that will be given to your proposal. It is important to know what risks could have and what to do if this occurs.
