Scholarships
Two (2) scholarships will be granted to students who will attend the IBDP1 during the 2024-2025 academic year, following a written competition. The students with the highest two marks will receive a 3000 € fee reduction.
The scholarships competition will take place on Friday, April 5, 2024 (17:30 – 20:30), in the school premises.

Placement tests
Geitonas School is happy to invite you to the IBDP Placement Tests, scheduled on Saturday, April 13th 2024, from 9:00 to 14:00. Placement tests will take place in the school premises, and are addressed to students of our school and other schools who are interested to join the IBDP.
In placement tests, students will be assessed in three main subjects: Modern Greek Language and Literature, English (for students who have not obtained Proficiency), and Math. Students who wish to choose Physics and/or Chemistry as subjects in the IBDP have to inform us in advance, so that they are assessed in those subjects too. Placement tests will last from 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the subject, and will be administered in Greek and English. Finally, placement tests constitute an important source of information that will guide students in choosing their subjects in the IBDP.
If you would like to take the Placement tests, please express your interest by Thursday, March 30th. Please contact the IBDP office by email ([email protected]) or phone (216 1003806 or 210 9656200) to inform us about your attendance. Then, the IBDP office will email you a sample of the placement tests before the actual exam date.

You can get the application form from the administration of the IBDP department, have it sent to you my mail or download it from the links below. Only students who have submitted the application form can take the Placement Test. The number of candidates accepted each year is determined by the school and is announced at the beginning of the application period. For the 2024-2025 academic year, the maximum number of students that will be accepted to the IBDP1 is 45. Also, please find attached our IBDP Handbook with useful information on our Admissions and Assessment policies, as well as our schools' Code of Conduct.

Αίτηση εγγραφής
Η έναρξη της διαδικασίας υποβολής αίτησης κοινοποιείται στους γονείς του σχολείου μας με επιστολή. Η Αίτηση Εγγραφής μπορεί να παραληφθεί από τη Γραμματεία του Τμήματος, να αποσταλεί ταχυδρομικά σε εσάς ή να την κατεβάσετε ηλεκτρονικά από την ιστοσελίδα των Εκπαιδευτηρίων Γείτονα. Δεκτοί για συμμετοχή στη Διαδικασία Γραπτής Αξιολόγησης θα γίνουν μόνον όσοι υποψήφιοι υποβάλουν αίτηση. Ο αριθμός υποψηφίων που γίνεται δεκτός ανά έτος καθορίζεται από το σχολείο και γνωστοποιείται από την αρχή της διαδικασίας στους υποψηφίους. Για το σχολικό έτος 2024-2025, ο αριθμός των μαθητών που θα γίνουν δεκτοί στο IB DP1 θα είναι 45.
