Their Finnish classmates introduced them to the Finnish way of life through activities such as skiing, sledging, skating on the frozen lake, swimming in an ice-hole etc. The whole programme was a memorable experience for all students and teachers!
They also spent one day at Helsinki, where they visited various popular spots such as the Amos Rex museum, the Old Market Hall, the Senate Square, the Esplanadi Park and they enjoyed a guided tour to the Ateneum Art Museum.
We are now ready for Part II of the Educational Programme! We are going to welcome the Finnish group consisting of 10 students and 3 teachers, who will visit our IBDP Department from 30/3 till 5/4. They will attend classes on a daily basis and participate in various educational and cultural activities organized by our department. We hope that Part II will be equally successful!
The Educational Exchange Programme has been designed, organized and carried out by the following members of the IBDP Faculty: Erifylli Bagia, Marina Koutsoubou and Ilias Liakatas.
