On two Wednesdays, the 9th and the 30th of March 2022, our IBDP 1 CAS Students in charge of the project ‘Poverty’, visited the Social Food Market in Voula and offered all the food and supplies that had been donated by our IB and Lykeio students.
After a very constructive discussion they had with the social worker, Mrs. Friligou, about the percentages of the families in need of the Municipality, the way the products are categorized and how the Food Market works in general, they volunteered in the preparation of packages and in the placement of the products brought from the school on the shelves.
