Experience a Day as an IB Student at Geitonas School!
Geitonas School invites prospective students to participate in a unique educational experience: the Shadow Day, a day of introduction to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
The day can be arranged at any time of the academic year by appointment and is addressed to 9th and 10th grade students who are interested in getting to know the philosophy and operation of the IB Programme.
What is the Shadow Day?
It is a day during which prospective students have the opportunity to:
- Attend IB classes,
- Meet students and teachers,
- Participate in classroom discussions,
- Gain a realistic insight into the learning experience offered by the IB Diploma Programme.
Participants can choose the subjects that match their interests to gain a personalized view of the program’s academic options.
The Shadow Day is a unique opportunity for students to get to know the IB DP and assess whether it fits their expectations and goals.
Τα Εκπαιδευτήρια Γείτονα προσκαλούν τους υποψήφιους μαθητές να συμμετάσχουν σε μια ξεχωριστή εκπαιδευτική εμπειρία: το Shadow Day, μια ημέρα γνωριμίας με το Διεθνές Απολυτήριο (IB Diploma Programme).
Η δράση θα πραγματοποιείται κατόπιν συνεννόησης οποιαδήποτε στιγμή και απευθύνεται σε μαθητές που ενδιαφέρονται να γνωρίσουν από κοντά τη φιλοσοφία και τη λειτουργία του προγράμματος IB.
Τι είναι το Shadow Day;
Πρόκειται για μια ημέρα κατά την οποία οι υποψήφιοι μαθητές έχουν την ευκαιρία να:
- παρακολουθήσουν μαθήματα του IB,
- γνωρίσουν μαθητές και καθηγητές,
- συμμετάσχουν σε συζητήσεις μέσα στην τάξη,
- αποκτήσουν μια ρεαλιστική εικόνα της μαθησιακής εμπειρίας που προσφέρει το IB Diploma Programme.
Οι συμμετέχοντες μπορούν να επιλέξουν τα μαθήματα που ανταποκρίνονται στα προσωπικά τους ενδιαφέροντα, ώστε να αποκτήσουν μια εξατομικευμένη εικόνα των ακαδημαϊκών επιλογών του προγράμματος. Το Shadow Day αποτελεί μια μοναδική ευκαιρία για μαθητές να γνωρίσουν το IB DP και να αξιολογήσουν αν ταιριάζει στις προσδοκίες και τους στόχους τους.
