On October 11th-12th, 2025 the following Senior High School and IB students represented our school’s MUN Club at the 13th CS MUN: Eleni Michala, Dimitra Koumpoura, Stavros Nikolakopoulos, Zoi Tsintavi, Emmeleia Petrou, Christina Papageorgiou, Nefeli Papaioannou, Ioanna Paravanti, Katerina Pouli, Vasiliki Teperidou, Marina Tsismalidou, Sofia Vatista and Ioanna Vikeli. The Conference’s theme was “Free Will in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”.

The students had the opportunity to negotiate, collaborate and propose solutions to contemporary global problems. Our student delegates were members of domestic and international committees, such as the Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Committee (GA3), the Legal Committee (GA6), the Historical Security Council, the World Health Organisation and the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
Sofia Vatista (IB DP1) who represented Ghana at the Historical Security Council received the Best Delegate award.

This was an invaluable opportunity for students, providing them with a deeper understanding of the United Nations. We hope that this experience has strengthened their interest in current affairs and inspired them to participate in future conferences.

The students were prepared under the guidance of Ms. Rania Montzioli, English Teacher and MUN Advisor, Ms. Effie Assimou, English Teacher and MUN Advisor, Mr. Diamantis Madias, Geitonas alumnus and MUN Advisor and Ms. Eirianna Kouri, Head of Public Speaking and Debate.
