The quarantine student newsletter

We are six IBDP1 students, who teamed up and created this newsletter to attract and entertain people with similar passions to ours. The goal of this website is to help people get through quarantine, and generally get through their day, by using their time more productively or by trying out new things. This page is an opportunity for you to have fun and engage with new hobbies. So, if you enjoy, reading books, programming, gaming, improving your mental and physical health, playing music or creativity, you have visited the right page! Click here to read our Newsletter!

WeforYou

Our intention was to motivate our friends and the public to actively participate in a comprehensive action plan intended to provide for people in need. We wanted to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and help towards alleviating poverty. Our project consisted of three parts. The first was to collect 200kg of olives from fields, bottle and sell them and use the income of 1.200euros to buy professional equipment for the Cerebral Palsy Charity “Door Open” and the ‘Children’s Smile” home for Children in Corinth. The second part was clothes drive where we collected 25 large boxes of clothes and delivered them to “Children’s Smile” in Nea Makri. The third part was the collection of Books for SOS Children’s Village in Vari and Children’s Smile.
